Octoraro Native Plant Nursery Octoraro Native Plant Nursery celebrates 18 years of business in 2008. We specialize in container grown mid-Atlantic and Eastern regional native trees and shrubs.
"Octoraro" in the original Lenni Lenape Native American language means, "Muddy River." Given that most of our plants are used for environmental restoration and conservation projects focused on improving water quality, we think it's an appropriate name for our nursery. Additionally, our nursery is located on the west branch of the Octoraro Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. click here to view the article.
