If you’ve never heard of Stroud Water Research Center, you’re missing a gem.  This organization and its talented people serve such a vital role in delivering critical science and education with the pursuit of clean water.  Their mission is simple.  “Since 1967, Stroud™ Water Research Center has focused on one thing — fresh water. We seek to advance knowledge and stewardship of freshwater systems through global research, education, and watershed restoration.”  The goal is far more complex, but we want to recognize them as a valuable partner on their 50th anniversary.

Thank You Bern!

Also and after decades of exceptional leadership, Bern Sweeney Executive Director has transitioned to full-time Distinguished Research Scientist.  We’ve had the pleasure of working with Bern for close to two decades and you’ll never find a scientist with the communication skills to talk to anyone from school kids, to elected officials; lay people and fellow scientists.  He is an absolute champion of clean water and one of the nicest guys you’d want to meet.  Congratulations and thanks Bern!
